Kaushalya Verma, Manju Jhangra, Geeta Jhangra are terracotta artists from Haryana, India. They are known for their traditional skills in terracotta art and have been recognized for their work in creating the Sanjhi Mother Goddess and contributing to the Crafts Maps of India project. The Sanjhi or Jhanji deity is worshipped during navratra, the nine day festival following the moonless amavasa day of asauj, in September/October. The Sanjhi Mother Goddess has been created by Kaushalya Verma, Manju Jhangra and Geeta Jhangra, who then turned their traditional skill to depicting an evolving modern India. The Crafts Maps of India project is a unique art gallery of craft maps that provides locations of craft production and marketing areas all over India, with the terracotta artwork of Kaushalya Verma, Manju Jhangra and Geeta Jhangra being featured on the Crafts Map of Haryana. The craft maps were first displayed at the Race Course Metro Station in Delhi in 2015.
