Albino Candoni was an Italian sculptor born in Rome in 1877 and died in 1948. He was one of the artists who worked on the façade of the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome, creating four figures of Fame holding bronze wreaths sculpted by Adolfo Pantaresi and himself. Candoni was also involved in the expansion of the museum in 1934. He is known for his marble sculptures, including the Portrait of Giulio Aristide Sartorio, created in an unknown date. Candoni's works are also exhibited in the Museo Boncompagni Ludovisi per le arti decorative, the Museo Hendrik C. Andersen, the Raccoltà Manzù, and the Museo Mario Praz, which are part of the Galleria Nazionale.
