Anne Renaud is a Westmount, Quebec-based Canadian writer of nonfiction, fiction and poetry for children. She was born in Valleyfield, Quebec and is a descendant of English, Irish, and French immigrants. She has written several picture books and historical non-fiction books for children, including 'The Extraordinary Life of Anna Swan' and 'The Boy Who Invented the Popsicle'. She is also known for her work in French.
