Arsen Levonee, also known as Arsen Levonyan, is an Armenian artist born in Yerevan in 1978. He is a French-American painter, sculptor, writer, and chess player, known for his series of paintings where he plays a game of chess with Marcel Duchamp. Levonee began his artistic career as a graffiti artist and started to put his first IKO characters in the street about 15 years ago. He is also known for his work in urban art and can be found on Urbaneez, an online platform for buying street art. Levonee is also a chess player and has been featured in an article on Google Arts & Culture, where he is seen playing chess with Duchamp in his paintings. In addition to his art, Levonee is also an engineer agronomist, as mentioned in an article on Connaître la Wallonie. He is currently based in Moscow, Russia.
