Augusto Ferrer-Dalmau Nieto is a Spanish hyperrealist painter who specializes in historical military paintings. He was born in Barcelona on January 20, 1964. Ferrer-Dalmau's work focuses on portraying different eras of the Spanish Armed Forces through hyperrealistic naturalism. On January 11, 2022, he presented the Ferrer-Dalmau Foundation with the aim of promoting defense culture through history and art. Ferrer-Dalmau is known as the Painter of Battles.
