Camillo Pacetti was an Italian sculptor born in Rome in 1758 and died in Milan in 1826. He was the brother of Vincenzo Pacetti, also a sculptor. Camillo Pacetti studied at the Accademia di San Luca in Rome and worked in various churches in Rome and Milan. In 1804, he became the chair of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, following the recommendation of Antonio Canova. He produced portraits, mythological and allegorical subjects, and worked for Josiah Wedgwood in Rome from 1787/1788. He is known for his work on the statue of the New Law for the façade of the Dôme de Milan and the reliefs of the Arco della Pace in Milan.
