ชีวประวัติ:
The Pan Painter was an ancient Greek vase-painter of the Attic red-figure style, active ca. 480 to 450 BC. A pupil of Myson, he stands at the beginning of the Mannerists, though his style is still close to the Severe style. He is known for his decorative style and the three-dimensional nature of his figures. His name is derived from a pelike in the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, which depicts Heracles fighting Busiris. The Pan Painter is also known for his depiction of the myth of Theseus and Ariadne on a lekythos in the same museum. He is considered one of the greatest vase-painters of the ancient world.
