Du Dakai is a Chinese artist born on August 8, 1943. He was admitted to the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts in 1978 and studied decorative painting under Mr. Zhu Danian and Mr. Yuan Yunfu. Du Dakai has been teaching since his graduation and is now a professor of Fine Arts College of Tsinghua University. He is a member of China Artists Association, vice chairman of Beijing Artists Association, and has participated in many national art exhibitions, winning prizes or having his works collected.
