Francis Upritchard is a New Zealand contemporary artist based in London. She was born in Porirua, New Zealand in 1976. Upritchard represented New Zealand at the Venice Biennale in 2009. She is known for her ceramic and glass sculptures, as well as her installations and textile works. Upritchard's work often explores themes of history, mythology, and the human condition. She has exhibited extensively in New Zealand and internationally, including at the Tate Modern in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
