Javier Vallhonrat Guezzi is a Spanish photographer and multidisciplinary artist born in Madrid in 1953. He is a graduate in Fine Arts and Psychology, and has also trained as a Gestalt Therapist and Integrative Humanist Therapist. Vallhonrat has had a diverse career, starting as an assistant to an Italian photographer before becoming a fashion photographer and working with magazines such as Vogue. He later returned to his studies and began to develop more personal work, incorporating video into his art. Vallhonrat has received numerous awards for his work, including the National Photography Prize in Spain in 1995 and the Kaulak Photography Prize in 2009. He has exhibited his work internationally and has taught at the University of Cuenca in Spain since 1997.
