Jerzy Ludwik Brzuskiewicz was born on March 28th, 1946, in Lingen/Ems, Germany. In 1964-70, he studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk; graduated in 1970. He is known for his work with found objects and materials, often incorporating them into his compositions in unexpected ways. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums throughout Poland and Europe, and he has received numerous awards and accolades for his contributions to the art world. He currently lives and works in Toruń, Poland.
