Johnson Njenga, also known as John Njenga, was a Roman Catholic archbishop born on December 25, 1928 in Tigoni, Kiambu, Kenya. He was ordained priest in 1957 and became the Bishop of Eldoret in 1970. In 1988, he became the Bishop of Mombasa and two years later, he was appointed as the Archbishop of Mombasa, a position he held until 2005. Njenga was also the President of the Kenyan Episcopal Conference from 1976 to 1982. He died on November 4, 2018 at the age of 89.
