Liu Jun studied at Chung Hua High School Seremban for his secondary education and represented the Malaysia National Junior Team in the Asian Junior Wushu Championship, where he scored silver in the Changquan category. After graduating from secondary school, Liu went abroad to South Korea to further his studies.

Liu Jun joined the 1MILLION Dance Studio in South Korea as a student and gradually worked his way up to become the studio's youngest dance instructor and choreographer.
