Lu Hui was a Chinese artist born in Shanfu County, Shandong in 1851. He was a prominent figure in the Shanghai school of painting and was known for his landscape paintings. Lu Hui was inspired by the ideas of Dong Qichang and created a series of works in the style of great painters of the past. He died in 1920.
