Margaretha Helm, also known as Margaretha Helmin, was an embroidery teacher and skilled copper plate engraver from Nuremberg, Germany. She created a series of plates of her embroidery designs, which were later printed in a three-volume work titled Kunst- und Fleiss-übende Nadel Ergötzungen oder neu-erfundenes Neh- und Stick-Buch. The books were published by Johann Christoph Weigel of Nuremberg in the early 1720s and include designs for the decoration of shoes. Margaretha Helm is one of several early-modern female textile artists who were able to publish their designs under their own name.
