Mark Messersmith is an artist born in 1953 in Tallahassee, Florida, United States. He is known for his high color fantasy painting with creatures, and teaching. Messersmith received his Master of Fine Arts from Florida State University. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums across the United States, and he is currently a Professor of Art at Florida State University.
