Ming Cho Lee was a Chinese-American theatrical set designer and professor at the Yale School of Drama. He was born in Peking, China, in 1930 and died in 2020. He was known for his work in theater, dance, and opera, and was a four-time Tony Award nominee. Lee was involved in the U.S. entertainment industry since the 19th century and was one of the first Asian Americans to gain access to the American mainstream. He was also a professor at the Yale School of Drama.
