Mohamed Abusal is a Palestinian artist born in Gaza in 1976. He is known for his daring and intense artistic production, which he started in 2000. His work often addresses the reality of the besieged Gaza Strip and offers a critical perspective on the situation. He has exhibited extensively around the world and has received several awards, including the Charles Asprey Prize for Art in 2005. He is also the co-founder of Eltiqa1, an active group of contemporary artists based in Gaza.
