Mohamed Arejdal is a Moroccan artist born in 1984 in Guelmim, Morocco. He graduated from the Institut National des Beaux Arts in Tétouan, Morocco in 2009. Arejdal's work explores the territories of his native southern Morocco, where he now lives and works. He has developed a multifaceted body of work that includes large-scale multimedia installations, photography, and performance art. His work often deals with themes of migration, geography, travel, and traditions. In 2012, he created an artwork titled 'Valise' using leather as the medium.
