He became a life member of the Cholamandal Artists’ Village in 1965 and earned his diploma in Painting and in the advance course in 1968. He is known for his sculptures and has exhibited his works in various parts of the world. He is also a painter and his works have been showcased in various exhibitions. He has been a part of the Indian art scene for over five decades and has made significant contributions to the field of sculpture.
