Peter Sekaer was a Danish photographer and artist. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1901 and immigrated to the United States in 1918. He started a graphics business in New York City and began attending classes at The Art Student's League. He became known for his master sign painting and had a reputation as a successful businessman. He was a part of the Danish American community and assimilated into American society quickly. He is known for his photographs for the Rural Electrification Administration and the U.S. Housing Authority. He died in 1950.
