Giuseppe Gricci was an Italian artist born in Naples, Italy in 1700. He died in 1770. Giuseppe Gricci is known for his work as a modeller and chief modeller at the Capodimonte porcelain manufactory in Naples, Italy between 1743 and 1759. After the factory was moved to Madrid, Spain by King Charles in 1760, Giuseppe Gricci continued his work as a modeller and chief modeller at the Real Fábrica del Buen Retiro until his death in 1770. He is known for his moulded figurines and contributions to the development of porcelain manufacturing techniques.
