Reinhold Inkamala is an Aboriginal artist from Alice Springs, Central Australia. He was born in 1974 and comes from the Ntaria (Hermannsburg Community) in the Northern Territory. Reinhold is part of the Inkamala family, a significant family of watercolourists, and was raised in Ntaria by his parents, Reinhold and Clara. He is known for his watercolour paintings and incorporates text to construct politicised messages about the continued marginalisation of First Nations peoples. Reinhold is represented by the Iltja Ntjarra Many Hands Art Centre, an Aboriginal owned and directed art centre based in Alice Springs, which is home to and has a special focus on supporting the Hermannsburg School, the best known artist of which was Albert Namatjira.
