Said Dokins is a Mexican contemporary artist born in 1983 in Mexico City. He is known for his large-scale interventions in public spaces, which address social issues through calligraphic gestures. Dokins studied at the School of Arts and Design in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He has exhibited his work nationally and internationally, and has been a resident artist at the Cultural Institute in Paris. Dokins' work has been recognized by Forbes magazine as one of the most creative Mexicans of 2017. He is considered one of Mexico's most important contemporary photographers.
