Semen Nikolayevich Pesterev was born in Saratov, Russia in 1917. He is a Russian artist known for his works in various mediums. Some of his most famous works include 'Per soviet power in the North' and 'Masters of North'. He was also a scientist and won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1956. He died in Moscow, USSR (now Russia) in 1986.
