Siegfried II of Westerburg was born in Westerburg, Germany around 1260. He was the second son of Siegfried IV, Count of Runkel in Westerburg. He had an older brother named Henry (Heinrich) I of Westerburg. Siegfried II of Westerburg was consecrated Archbishop of Cologne in March 1275 in Lyon. He was the Archbishop of Cologne from 1275 to 1297. Siegfried II of Westerburg died in Bonn, Germany in 1297.
