Simone Kestelman is a Brazilian sculptor and multimedia artist, born and raised in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She has a BA in Economics from University Gama Filho, Rio de Janeiro. Kestelman's work is humanist, often relating to the body or the absence of the body. She is known for her high technical standard with glass, which she achieved through training at Pilchuck Glass School, Eugene Glass School, and Corning Museum. Kestelman has exhibited her work in galleries and museums, and her sculpture 'Diversity' is available for view on The House of Arts. She is also an activist artist, supporting children’s and women’s rights.
