ชีวประวัติ:
Little is known about the artistic and biographical trajectory of painter Victoria Malinowska, whose birth and death dates are unknown. The press of the time attributes her Russian origin, but generally indicates her Polish origin. Malinowska takes refuge in Spain, like other foreign artists, with the outbreak of war in 1916: "The Great War brought to Spain, which was neutral in the conflict, several Polish writers and artists living in France. There they were surprised by the outbreak of the Great War and were considered non-grata persons due to the fact that almost all of them came from Galicia, Poland, i.e., they had Austrian passports: this is the case of Józef and Wanda Pankiewicz, Wlaclaw Zawadowski, Victoria de Malinowska - Zubiaurre's friend -, Tadeusz Peiper, Wladyslaw Jahl, Marian Paszkiewicz and others." Shortly after her arrival in Spain, she is already related to the artistic circles of the time - she is portrayed by Valentín Zubiarurre and Ignacio Zuloaga. She participates in the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in 1917 and in June of the following year she shows at the Salón del Círculo de Bellas Artes "a abundant collection of 107 paintings with different subjects such as landscapes of Madrid, Biarritz, Ondárroa, Pyrenees...; flower vases, villages, still lifes and portraits like those of Miss Mott , Pilar Zubiaurre , Portrait of the guitarist , Portrait of a young woman , Old gypsy , etc; after this exhibition she will again exhibit her paintings at the Círculo de Bellas Artes during the month of November of that same year". The press echoes the success of her exhibitions and her work is highly valued by critics.
