Wang Xingwei is a Chinese artist born in 1969 in Beijing, China. He is known for his paintings that often combine elements of traditional Chinese art with Western influences. Wang studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and later at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions around the world, including the Venice Biennale and the Shanghai Biennale. Wang currently lives and works in Beijing.
