Alan Donovan Phillips Leitch, known as Alan Donovan, was born in 1946 in Nairobi, Kenya. He is an artist known for his African Heritage necklace of malachite and cast brass. He is also known for his African Heritage House, a museum and hotel located in Nairobi, Kenya, which he co-founded in 1971. The African Heritage House is a combination of the mud architectures from across Africa and is overlooking the Nairobi National Park. Donovan died in 2021 in Nairobi, Kenya.
