Amy Yoes is an American artist born in 1959 in Houston, Texas. She has lived in Chicago, San Francisco, and New York, where she currently resides. Yoes works in a multifaceted way, alternating between installation, sculpture, and public art. Her work draws inspiration from art, architecture, furniture, fashion, and printed ephemera of diverse historical and cultural origins. Yoes has received numerous awards, including a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2003. Her work is held in numerous public and private collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
