Ivan Standl was a Croatian artistic photographer of Czech origin, the first professional photographer in Zagreb. He was born in Prague in 1832 and died in Zagreb in 1897. Standl opened his photography studio in Zagreb in 1864 and became known for his work, being called 'the unsurpassed Zagreb photographer' by historian Gjuro Szabo. Standl's work includes a photograph of the Zagreb Cathedral taken in 1880.
