Oka Buntō, also known as Tōzo, was a Japanese artist born in Tango province. He moved to Kyoto to study at the Kyoto City School of Arts and the Kyoto City Specialist School of Painting. He is known for his work 'Red Ivy and a Small Bird' created in 1901 using the medium of silk.
