Petr Nikl is a Czech artist born in Prague in 1960. He is known for his work in various mediums, including painting, sculpture, and performance art. He has received several awards for his work, including the prestigious Magnesia Litera award in 2008 for his book 'Záhádky'. He is also a musician and has released several albums with his band, The Bitter Tears. Nikl continues to create and exhibit his work both in the Czech Republic and internationally.
