Susan Obrant is an American artist, illustrator, fashion designer, and costume designer. She was born in Philadelphia and was educated at the Parsons School of Design. Obrant has been producing fine art for 30 years and began her commercial career while still a student at Parsons. She has been involved in various art worlds and has exhibited her work in museums. Obrant has also received a Grammy Award for Best Recording Package for her work as an art director. She is also known for her illustrations in the children's novel 'The Cuckoo Tree' by Joan Aiken.
