Amado del Pino was born on February 25, 1960, in Tamarindo, Camagüey, Cuba. He was a Cuban actor, writer, and critic, known for his work in theater and film. He was educated at the University of the Arts in Cuba. Del Pino was married to Tania Cordero. He died on January 22, 2017, in Madrid, Spain.
