Gabriel Lebidois (1755-1813) was a French artist who specialized in enamel painting. He was born in Paris and became a master in 1781. He was active in Paris until 1792. His works are highly regarded for their delicate and precise execution, as well as their elegant and refined style. He is best known for his portrait miniatures and decorative objects, such as snuff boxes and watches. Many of his works are in the collections of major museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Louvre Museum in Paris.
