Imrich Svitana is a Slovak sculptor, medallist, jeweler, teacher, painter, and draftsman born in Spišská Nová Ves in 1944. He is one of the founding figures of the art of jewelry and medal making in Slovakia, bringing a new perspective and artistic processing to these forms. He is known for his 'Vertikály' exhibition and his 'Who seeks, finds' sculpture.
