Diego Villanueva, also known as Diego Thug, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on September 15, 1990. He is the lead singer and co-founder of the group Bonde da Stronda. Diego is the main songwriter of the group, and his lyrics often depict his life and that of his friends, discussing their daily realities and experiences, usually centered around partying, girls, friends, and his career. In 2012, Diego released his single 'Tem Espaço? Faz Tatuagem!' along with a music video, showcasing his passion for tattoos. He also owns a record label called ZeroUM Records, which releases solo works, Bonde da Stronda's albums, and other artists' works. Diego has also dated the singer Anitta between 2011 and 2012.
