životopis:
Paolo Venini (1895-1959) and Fulvio Bianconi (1915-1996) were two prominent figures in the production of Murano glass and Italian design. Venini, a lawyer turned glassmaker, founded the eponymous Venini & C. glassworks in 1921, while Bianconi was a painter and designer who began collaborating with Venini in the 1940s. Together, they created a series of innovative and influential glass designs, including the 'Fazzoletto' vase, which became a symbol of post-war Italian design. Venini's expertise in glassmaking and Bianconi's creativity and imagination resulted in a unique and fruitful partnership that lasted until Venini's death in 1959.
