Phoa Tjong Ling was a Chinese Indonesian artist born in Pekalongan, Indonesia in 1906. He was known for his work in the field of batik, a traditional Indonesian art form. Phoa Tjong Ling was a prominent leader in the Chinese Indonesian community and was also a lawyer and the director of Siang Po in Jakarta. He died in 1974.
