Benjamin F. Long, IV is an American artist who served as a first lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. He enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve in 1969 and served his first tour in Vietnam as an infantry officer. During his second tour, he served as a combat artist. Long was wounded by enemy fire while serving in Vietnam. He is known for his drawing 'During sniper fire' (1970).
