Johann Michael Hoppenhaupt II, also known as Johann Michael Hoppenhaupt the Elder, was a German ornament sculptor and decorator born in Zittau, Germany in 1709. He played an essential role in the decoration of the New Palace in Potsdam and other palaces in the area. He died after 1755 in Merseburg, Germany.
