On a quadriga that proceeds from right to left, driven by soaring horses whose manes rise like flames in the air, Napoleon thrives, with deep solemnity and composure. The emperor, crowned with laurel, three quarters to the left with his face in profile, wears a lorica with paludamentum. The right arm rests on its side, while the left, bent at the elbow and raised, holds a scepter culminating in an inflorescence. The emperor is accompanied by Victory, who leads the cart. The goddess, in flight, in the background compared to Napoleon, has a naked breast and wears a long chiton that forms folds along the back: the right arm, leaning forward, holds the reins, while the left rests on the edge of the chariot. The hair is collected in a tall chignon. The chariot, whose wheels have inside a series of concentric circles that create the effect of movement, is decorated along the edge with a series of spherical pearls, the same ones that adorn the finishes of the horses.
