Alberto Garutti is an Italian artist and lecturer, born in Galbiate, Italy in 1948. He has been a professor at the Academy of Bologna, Academy of Brera in Milan, Politecnico of Milan, and IUAV in Venice. Garutti's practice focuses on opening a dialogue between art and architecture, often creating works in public spaces. He has had solo exhibitions in various institutions, including Museo Chini in Borgo San Lorenzo, Studio la Città in Verona, and Buchmann Galerie in Berlin. Garutti passed away in 2023.
