Maria Luigia d'Asburgo, also known as Archduchess Marie Louise of Austria, was born on December 12, 1791, in Vienna, Austria. She became the Empress of France and Queen of Italy from April 1810 to April 1814 as the second wife of Emperor Napoleon. Following her marriage, she was given the title Duchess of Parma from April 11, 1814, until her death on December 17, 1847.
