Seungwoo Back is a Seoul-based contemporary artist born in Daejeon, Korea in 1973. He studied photography and later received degrees in Fine Art and Theory from Middlesex University in London. His works question the unquestioned qualities of photography, such as juxtaposition-confrontation on the reduction of the world. He has shown internationally and is represented by the Misa Shin Gallery.
