Emmanouil Bitsakis is a Greek artist born in Athens in 1974. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts from 1996 to 2001 and has since become known for his acute images of paranoia that reflect the absurdity of reality. His work often features tricky mise-en-scènes that juxtapose different elements, creating a sense of disorientation and unease. Bitsakis's paintings have been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums around the world, including Zoumboulakis Galleries in Athens, Kalfayan Galleries in Thessaloniki, and the National Portrait Gallery in London.
