Fyerool Darma is a Singaporean artist born in 1987. He is a painter by training and integrates sound, video, new media, sculpture, texts and craft practices into his recent installations. His work often juxtaposes the aesthetics and materials of different cultures and explores the cultural consumption of history and myth in relation to contemporary markers of identity and class. Darma has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including at the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore, Ocula, and Yeo Workshop.
