Gayle Trisha Were is a photographer and visual artist. She is known for her photography project 'His World, Her Battle' (2021), which explores the gendered power dynamic in an abusive heteronormative relationship and the role of patriarchy in promoting this ill. Gayle Trisha Were's work has been exhibited in galleries and she is also a digital marketing professional and storyteller based in Madrid, Spain. She has a degree in Information Technology from Adamson University and has published three successful cookbooks. Gayle Trisha Were has also won several awards for her photography and has been a cast member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1999. She is married to country singer Garth Brooks.
